Applications Due December 21, 2004 (Indianapolis, Ind., December 7, 2004) – High school seniors interested in applying for a Networks Scholarship are reminded that the deadline to return completed applications is approaching. Applications must be postmarked and mailed or faxed to Networks Financial Institute by December 21, 2004. The scholarships are awarded to fifteen incoming freshman who declare a major or minor through Indiana State University’s College of Business and intend to pursue careers in the financial services industry.
Networks Scholars receive a four-year, $20,000 scholarship to support the cost of tuition and fees, a $3,000 professional development account, and a new, wireless laptop computer. Scholars also will receive several professional development opportunities including access to at least one paid internship, an opportunity for an international experience, an Indiana State University faculty mentor during the freshman and sophomore years, and an executive mentor during the junior and senior years. Indiana State University and its College of Business have high expectations for Networks Scholars, requiring that they maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and 3.2 GPA in business courses, among other requirements.
